UX content design

Background

As the only UX Content Designer for PenFed’s member experience, I was in the unique position to pioneer our content design system. Sure, marketing had their brand book. But there wasn’t an established framework for the PenFed experience after login. I was responsible for marrying our outward-facing brand with the member-facing user experience.

Execution

Starting from the ground up, I worked with the design leads to create a content design system that applied to every line of business. From personal loan applications to credit card payments, our system was used as the north star whenever a new experience was created. I crafted guidelines for every UX element in our system to ensure consistency. You’ll find some examples of this below.
